About Cryopath

Fertility logistics, led by embryologists

Reproductive materials deserve specialised care from people who truly understand their significance.

Cryopath was founded on a simple principle: every specimen we carry is more than biological material. It represents someone's path to parenthood — months or years of treatment, and profound emotional investment.

Unlike conventional couriers, we are led and operated by experienced embryologists who have worked in fertility clinics and laboratories. We understand cryopreservation at a technical level ordinary logistics companies cannot match — the science, the risks, and what it takes to preserve viability in transit.

That expertise is embedded in every decision we make: how a shipper is charged, how a seal is verified, how a handoff is signed off. Nothing is left to chance.

MISSION

Preserve every specimen

Transport frozen reproductive materials with embryologist expertise, so each one gets the care it deserves.

VISION

The trusted partner

Become the courier fertility clinics, hospitals and patients rely on across Nigeria.

VALUES

Our Quality Promise

We move your material the way we handle it in the lab: as irreplaceable.

Cryopath was founded by embryologists — the specialists who work with eggs, sperm and embryos every day. That expertise shapes every step of every shipment.

Embryologist sign-off

Packing at pickup and receipt at delivery are checked by someone who works with this material daily — on every premium job.

VERIFIED AT BOTH ENDS

Kept cryogenic, with days to spare

Validated dry-vapour shippers are charged to hold below −150°C for 7–25 days — traffic or a missed flight never becomes a thaw.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers before you book

Common questions about how we handle, transport and document your reproductive materials.

General Services
What types of reproductive materials can Cryopath transport?
Frozen sperm, oocytes (eggs), embryos, ovarian tissue and testicular tissue — any cryopreserved reproductive material held in liquid-nitrogen conditions.
What geographic areas do you serve?
We cover all of Lagos State — island and mainland — with swift, same-day scheduling on most routes. Interstate transport isn't available yet; we're preparing it and will announce it as soon as it's ready.
Do you offer international transport?
Not at this stage. Our service currently operates within Lagos, with interstate routes in development. International transport would follow after that — get in touch and we'll keep you informed.
Transport & Timing
How quickly can you arrange transport?
Most Lagos routes can be scheduled same-day once documentation is confirmed. We coordinate with both clinics and charge the shipper in advance so pickup happens as soon as you're ready.
Do you serve all of Nigeria?
Lagos is our current coverage area. Interstate routes beyond Lagos are in development — let us know your route and we'll notify you the moment the service goes live.
What happens if there is a delay?
Our validated dry-vapour shippers hold below −150°C for 7–25 days, so traffic or a missed flight never becomes a thaw. We also keep backup charged shippers on standby as a rescue plan, and you're updated live throughout.
Safety & Preservation
How do you ensure specimen integrity during transport?
Every shipment travels in a validated dry-vapour shipper charged to hold below −150°C, sealed with numbered tamper-evident seals, followed by live GPS, and never left unattended — an unbroken chain of custody from booking to handoff.
How is cryogenic temperature maintained during transport?
Specimens stay continuously below −150°C inside liquid-nitrogen dry-vapour shippers. These are passive units: once charged, they hold cryogenic temperature for 7–25 days without any power, well within the range required to preserve viability.
What is your track record with specimen viability?
Because packing and receipt are checked by embryologists and every shipper is charged with days of hold-time to spare, specimens arrive in the same cryogenic state they left in. Every shipment is documented so your clinic has a full integrity record.
What happens if a specimen is damaged during transport?
This is exactly what our protocols are built to prevent — sealed handling, generous hold-time margin, and backup charged shippers. In the rare event of any concern, our chain-of-custody records and seal photos give a complete account, and our team responds immediately.
Documentation & Compliance
What documentation do you require?
Clinic release papers, patient consent forms, and identity verification for collection and handover. We confirm all of this before anything moves.
Do you maintain chain-of-custody documentation?
Yes. Every step — booked, planned, verified, sealed, in transit, delivered — is logged in the tracker, with numbered seals photographed at pickup and again at handoff for provable integrity.
Are your services compliant with Nigerian regulations?
We operate to medical-grade handling standards and manage regulatory compliance as part of every shipment. We're happy to walk clinic partners through the specifics for their setup.
Booking & Payment
How do I book a transport service?
Reach us by WhatsApp, phone, or create a shipment directly in the client portal. We'll confirm specimen type, route and timing, then issue a tracking code before we move.
What are your pricing and payment terms?
Pricing depends on specimen type, route and urgency. Message us with your requirements and we'll give you a clear quote — no hidden costs.
Do you offer volume or clinic partnership discounts?
Yes. Clinics running regular transport can set up partnership terms with preferential rates. Get in touch to arrange a standing schedule.
For Patients
Can I request transport for my own frozen specimens?
Yes. Patients can book directly — we'll coordinate with your storage facility or clinic to arrange release and handle the move end to end.
How do I know if my specimens arrived safely?
You'll receive a tracking code to follow your shipment's position live, and a confirmed handover notification once delivery is signed off — with embryologist confirmation on premium jobs.
What if I am relocating to another city?
Interstate moves aren't available yet, but they're actively in development. Send us your origin and destination and we'll contact you directly as soon as the route opens.
For Fertility Clinics
Can clinics schedule regular transport services?
Yes — clinics can set up recurring transport on a standing schedule, managed through the portal with full order history.
Do you provide training on your protocols?
We're happy to brief clinic teams on our handling, sealing and chain-of-custody procedures so pickups and handovers run smoothly.
Can you integrate with our clinic information system?
Our portal supports clinic accounts for shipment creation, tracking and messaging. Talk to us about how it fits alongside your existing systems.
